Scarsdale Diet Salad Dressing

The Scarsdale Diet salad dressing recipe is an excellent oil-free salad dressing, mainly due to the tangy taste of apple cider vinegar.

You can also use it as a marinade on meat.

Ingredients:

1/2 cup wine vinegar (or apple cider vinegar)
3 tbsp water
1 tsp seasoned salt
1 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp chopped capers (optional)
1 tsp minced parsley (optional)
a dash of pepper

Dissolve the mustard in the vinegar using the back of a spoon to make a smooth mixture.
Place all the ingredients into a small jar or bottle and shake them to mix well.
Refrigerate.

To make a larger batch, double or quadruple the ingredients.

It's important that you consult with a qualified health professional before embarking on any new dietary or exercise regimen.

Gathering information online is fine for research purposes, but you need a real live professional to monitor your progress if you attempt to make drastic changes to your lifestyle. Unless you're a health professional yourself, you aren't equipped to objectively observe your body's responses to a new diet or exercise program. So whatever your chosen course of action, please be sure you enlist the support of a qualified professional.
